Celebrated for his “extraordinary, clear, and sweet” voice, Eduardo Antonio Ramos Suárez is a versatile tenor from Ponce, Puerto Rico whose work encompasses a wide variety of genres and styles. A graduate of SUNY Fredonia (B.M. ‘10) and the New England Conservatory (M.M. ‘13), he has portrayed the operatic roles of Gomatz in Mozart’s Zaïde, Elder Gleaton in Floyd’s Susannah, Cochenille in Offenbach’s Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Silvio in Bizet’s Doctor Miracle, Don Miguel de Panatellas in Offenbach’s La Périchole, Alberto in Rossini’s La Gazzetta (understudy), Bazile in Grant Still’s A Bayou Legend, Remendado in Bizet’s Carmen, Jailor in Rice’s Evangeline, and Jonathon Parker in Opera Hub’s production of Marschner’s Der Vampyr. 

Eduardo has also served as a frequent roster singer for the local chapters of Opera on Tap and Olde Towne Carolers, and as a chorus member for Odyssey Opera. Most recently, Eduardo has partnered with award-winning soprano Jennifer Caraluzzi to co-create Duet All Night Cabaret, a one-of-a-kind theatrical collaboration between two artists who straddle the classical and musical theater genres.

 

Outside of his work in music, Eduardo is a seasoned Human Resources professional in the technology sector.
